The Compact variant, which stands 5 inches tall and has a barrel length of just under 4 inches, reduces the full-size CZ 75’s length and height by about 1/2 inch and about 3/4 inch, respectively. Due to its diminutive size, it can easily blend in with everyday attire. The user has two carry options with the CZ 75 DA/SA action with a manual safety lever: hammer-back with the safety on for single action operation or manually decocked for a double action first shot without having to recall to remove the safety before firing. The 75 Compact is the softest-shooting compact in the CZ 75 series because it keeps the steel frame of the original 75, losing only 2.4 oz in weight.
