The Glock ® 17 Gen5 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol is Glock’s original model in terms of both size and caliber. The storied polymer pistol is currently in its fifth iteration. Many police enforcement departments all over the world choose it as their preferred firearm. The G17 has all of the popular enhancements found in Generation 5 Glock handguns, including the Glock Marksman Barrel and a complete removal of leaf springs in favor of more reliable, longer-lasting coil springs. The magazine catch is reversible, and the slide release is ambidextrous. On the front and back of the slide, there are manufacturer serrations. Additionally, the gun’s front has been beveled to make reholstering simpler.

The slide and barrel use Glock’s most recent ion-bonded nDLC coating, which is more accurately black than earlier iterations and has increased performance in dry environments. The front strap no longer includes finger grooves, a long-requested improvement that enables any finger size to fit comfortably around the grip. You can add or remove extra backstop parts, including a beaver tail for those with larger hands, using Glock’s MBS (Modular Backstrap System). This gets rid of sliding bite. You’ll also get an integrated accessory rail for many different light and laser attachments in front of the trigger guard.
